Silent Temples (The Frozen Tentacles of Blind Love)

The breath of the silent one is all we can hear,
is all we can see.
The frozen tentacle of blind love.
No longer do we marvel
at the shadows in the shimmering distance.
Passing through the stars,
we are as dust in this field.
The blood of the sun shines in our veins.
Blackened, pure.
With eyes upturned.
Life is joy,
life is war,
death is life,
eternal,
immortal.

New Children (Black Cairns Over Dead Light)

The drapes fall over chasms of dead light appearing from it's black cairns. (The second coming/the second being/the second death/the infinite filth.) Appear now, on the steed of nothingness! The sun under your heel is the fire in my throat.

A Falling Out

Throw all
into the circle
full circle
down straight paths
break down bones
break the grain
breathe the chaff
old rocks broke
circle inclusive
through millenia
paths on pages
a straightened circle
bones to the sky
stones to the clouds
separate chaff.

Movement

These are white tongues
There are diamonds in your sun
you have forgotten movement
the movement of the one
wipe your blood on my face

Punctured Time

Into the fog
the ghost of the sky
we ride
to the white light

bleached bones
and parched steel
as punctured time
as stabbing space

into the fields
the apparitions of land
we pursue the blindness
and deprivation

oh, the children!

leave the fires
cherish the dreams
leave the blind
puncture time

Black Copper

The blood of spring

The smell of love

The hope of youth

Is forever

I grasp at constants

And breathe the black

Clothing in copper

This air is breath

This air is black

This air is copper

This copper is black

This copper is breath

This breath is black

This breath is youth

This love is breath

This blood is copper

The blood of spring

The blood of love

The blood of youth

The blood of hope

The breath of spring

The death of breath

The love of blood

The spring is forever…

The Inner Light

Lo, if some pen should write upon your rafter,
Mene and Mene in the folds of flame,

Think you could any memories thereafter
Wholly retrace the couplet as it came?

Lo, if some strange, intelligible thunder
Sang to the earth the secret of a star,

Scarce could ye catch, for terror and for wonder,
Shreds of the story that was pealed so far.

Scarcely I catch the words of His revealing,
Hardly I hear Him, dimly understand,

Only the Power that is within me pealing
Lives on my lips and beckons to my hand.

Whoso has felt the Spirit of the Highest
Cannot confound nor doubt Him nor deny:

Yea, with one voice, O world, though thou deniest,
Stand thou on that side, for on this am I.

Rather the earth shall doubt when her retrieving
Pours in the rain and rushes from the sod,

Rather than he for whom the great conceiving
Stirs in his soul to quicken into God.

Ay, though thou then shouldst strike from him his glory,
Blind and tormented, maddened and alone,

Even on the cross would he maintain his story,
Yes, and in hell would whisper, I have known.

Chant

Father:
Creator/Destroyer, the Holy Sperm
(Let it be heard on the wind!)

Mother:
Womb of Angels, the Crowned Mountain
(Let it be felt in the fire!)

Son:
A Spiral of Light, the Blood in the Dark
(Let it be seen on the earth!)

The Stench of History (Pt. 1)

it hits one sun, goes on and she falls through the mountainous, the gray, the dirt.

we're all nailed on the same cross, hung from the same tree, clinging to the same iscariot, that's how true breath is made into true cries of terror and adoration.

my back is on fire and the soil is eating my feet.

slowly eating my feet.

The Beast, the Honey

The taker -
reach out, bloodied
may your teeth
lick my face
i am your crumbling planet.

Drown me in your
golden promise.

Shining Things

it was cold
and the roof was made of bones
we will carry the berries
in our mouth

you must learn, you must

(no)

ask me where i run,
i run another way
to the fields in the cold
the berries are too cold
blood red berries
on the ground
blood on the ground

we shall help ourselves to a roof of bones
hung with shining wires
help ourselves to misery and death

(a paraphrasing from watership down by richard adams)
